WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU HAD ZERO INCOME?

What would you do if you had zero income through no fault of your own. Let's say just six short months ago you were making more than $40,000 a year. And then zap! No job, no car, no unemployment money. NO INCOME! Let's say you had no real family or friends to tide you over? You were about to lose your home, all the stuff in it and you had no transportation. And let's say you were a BABY-BOOMER and physically could not manage a daily round-trip 10 mile walk. Let's say you contacted by writing many letters to many different organizations, churches, and agencies to only be told they have no funds, you are in the wrong zip code,or because you have no funds---they can't help you. Let's say you have two degrees; a BA degree and an AA degree. Let's say you believed the hype, go to school, get a good education, then you get a good job. And let's even add the fact that you are a qualified, experienced secretary. Let's include the fact that you didn't and don't do drugs, abuse alcohol, or are mentally unbalanced, (at least not yet). How do your recover from it, get over or go under that mountain of poverty? What would you do? How would you survive a pending loss of everything and avoid living out on the streets- literally under some bridge? Please answer sincerely- what would you do to survive?
